HistoryGainesville Veterinary Hospital began serving the Gainesville community in 1963 as a mixed animal practice. Cattle, horses, sheep, goats, dogs and cats all received care by the many veterinarians at the hospital and on the farm. In 1996, Dr. Scott purchased the practice and focused the hospital's services onto small animal companions.
