Athens Institute for Massage offers a 600-hour program leading to student qualification to take the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworkers exam. It is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association Council of Schools, is recognized by the Georgia Board for Massage Therapy and meets the Georgia State Department of Education’s Nonpublic Post-Secondary Education Commission (NPEC) standards. It is also recognized by the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals, who has reviewed and recommended the program as meeting and exceeding the standards for a massage-therapy training program. Students have access to library resources, a student lounge with a full kitchen, study areas and break rooms at this 1800-square-foot brick office suite. Parking is convenient as well.
