Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home provides a range of residential care services for emotionally and behaviorally disturbed females between the ages of 7 and 18. Established in 1994, it offers accommodation services for more than 40 residents. The center manages Ault Academy, which is an on-site school that provides educational services and organizes athletic activities. It also assists in the development of social skills. Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home is accredited by the Council on Accreditation. It is a member of the Georgia Association of Homes and Services for Children and the Child Welfare League of America. The center is managed by Twin Cedars Youth Services, which assists parents and legal guardians of the youth in developing and improving parenting skills.
