American Megatrends is a provider of storage and computing technologies worldwide. The company provides original equipment manufacturers, resellers and systems integrators with computer technologies, such as IP storage area networks, network attached storage and storage management. The company is best known for its AMIBIOS modular BIOS, but also supplies hardware, software and utilities to many high-tech manufacturers, partnering with such technology companies as AMD and Intel. The firm also offers high-density motherboards, innovative storage and remote management products and services. AMI is a member of the Storage Networking Industry Association and an Associate Member with the Intel Communications Alliance -- a community of communications and embedded developers and solution providers. While the company is headquartered in Norcross, Ga., it maintains additional locations throughout the United States and in several countries worldwide, including China, Germany, India, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
