Cooper High School is a part of the Abilene Independent School District, and offers a variety of educational and extracurricular programs and activities to students in grades nine through 12. Its ninth grade academy is a team concept designed to help students successfully transition from middle to high school. The school offers a variety of fine arts programs, such as band, choir, orchestra, theater, and speech and debate. It also offers various clubs, such as art, astronomy, drama environmental, debate, French, German, international, photography, robotics, Spanish and speech clubs. The school s academic curriculum includes English, math, science, history, geography, American government, physics, chemistry and biology. It additionally offers various sports such as cross country, soccer, baseball, basketball, hockey, tennis, swimming, softball, and track and field. Cooper High School is located in Abilene, Texas.
