The West Pasco Historical Society is a museum and library used frequently by historians researching novels and biographies for details of early settlers and historical facts concerning local areas and also has a large selection of photos and maps. The museum is housed in a building that originally served as the Seven Springs school house 1913 to 1925; then as a private residence before being moved to Sims Park over several days in October 1981. The library addition was added in 1992. They have a permanent display of early businesses, a typical parlor of the 1900's and local original residents. There is a changing exhibition of African art, glassware and Timuccuan Indian artifacts. They also have a Mayan and Indian galleries and a gift shop. The Society frequently participates in special events in Sims Park. Call to arrange tours for school classes.
