Ivette Planas has also earned several awards from her industry and has been named twice Designer of the Year by the Interior Design Guild ( IDG ). She is a member of the American Society on Design ( ASID ) and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of the Latin Builders Association. She is also a past member of the board of Architecture and Interior Design of the State of Florida.
