History
Vero Beach Magazine was started in 1997 by Elizabeth Moulton. Moving to Vero Beach from Connecticut after treatment for a rare cancer, and glimpsing death, Beth felt directed to use her remaining time to improve the lives of other people. With an education from Pratt Institute and NYU, and ten years of experience with national and regional magazines, she decided to start Vero Beach Magazine as a way to educate readers about the needs of the community and to solidify the upmarket image of Vero Beach. The magazine supports non-profit organizations in the county, small businesses and the environment. Also published: The Insider Guide To Summer and The Insider Guide To Season, bi-annual guidebooks to everything there is to see and do in Vero Beach.
