History
The Curious Child Learning Community began as the result of a small group of parents' desire to offer their children an educational experience that focused on learning by tapping into and developing their innate curiosity about the world around them. Karen Cronin, owner and lead teacher, has over 30 years of experience in education having been a classroom teacher and administrator within both private and public schools. As such, Ms. Cronin's approach and curriculum reflects the best from her experiences within Montessori, Expeditionary Learning, and traditional educational programs and pedagogies. From the inception of the Curious Child, Ms. Cronin's primary goal has been to offer a learning environment which respects each child as a unique individual and learner allowing them to progress in their foundational skills, while also providing them with experiences and opportunities that nurtures and ignites their natural curiosity of this world; thus fostering a love for learning.
