Tampa Bay Fisheries, founded in 1991 and located in Dover, Fla., is one of the leading shrimp packers in the United States. The company is approved by the Food and Drug Administration s Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point program. It provides a wide range of products, such as breaded shrimp, scallops, oysters, fish, crab stuffed products, crab cakes, and cooked shrimp. Tampa Bay Fisheries operates a processing facility at Dover, which is spread on an area of more than 240,000-square-feet. The company also owns a more than 60,000-square-foot plant in Jacksonville. It processes over 1 million-pounds of seafood every week, and also has an on-site freezer with a capacity of more than 10 million-pounds.
