Founded in 1919, Tampa Adventist is part of a worldwide Seventh-Day Adventist school network. It provides education and spiritual guidance for children of elementary through high school age.
The Bible has a prominent role in the educational experience provided.
Tampa Adventist is accredited by the Florida Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists, an approved accrediting association of the Florida Association of Academic Non-Public Schools. The Southern Union Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists publishes the curriculum guidelines for Tampa Adventist, and class content and course offerings meet Florida's requirements for graduation.
The school mascot is the hawk.
