State Board of Administration, also known as SBA, is an investment management organization operated by the state of Florida. It manages more than 30 investment funds with total assets valued at over $150 billion. The organization offers a range of insurance and trust services adhering to professional standards. It features the Florida Retirement System Pension Plan, which helps nearly 200,000 retirees to meet their financial goals. State Board of Administration also supports the adoption of internationally recognized governance practices, including independent boards, performance-based executive compensation, accurate accounting and audit practices and transparent board procedures.
