St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church began in Tarpon Springs in 1985. The church's current edifice was erected in 1974 on Alderman Road in Palm Harbor.
Since its inception, St. Luke Parish has enjoyed remarkable growth, expanding from a few hundred families to three thousand families. The increase in membership has been accompanied by an increase in organizations and ministries. The members invite those interested to visit and experience the special spirit of warmth that is apparent among the Palm Harbor congretation and has led it to be known as "The Spirit of St. Luke."
St. Luke's is in the process of building a new expansion, which is visible in the photographs. The church hosts many ministries and events and welcomes new parishioners.
