An independent Christian Church, located on Webber between Beneva and McIntosh, Southside Christian Church welcomes visitors to attend its services. Recently, the youth group raised sufficient funds to make its summer camp a "no barriers" camp by having it fully equipped for handicap access.

Beneva Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is large and well-organized. It is where many people come annually to get their Christmas trees. It is active and supportive in the community. It has a food pantry, in conjunction with the United Way). The church also hosts a weekly Lunch n' Learn for those who wish to study the Bible during their lunch hour, on Thursdays from 12:15pm to 1pm. It believes in baptism by immersion, but respects other forms of baptism as well.
