History
Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine was formed when Dr. Albert Volk opened the practice at Flagler Hospital in 1999. Dr. Volk specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic shoulder surgery. Dr. Kurtis Hort, specializes in disorders of the foot and ankle joined the Practice and they opened their new state-of-the-art facility in 2005. Soon afterwards Dr. Brian Haycook, an orthopaedic spine surgeon specializing in disorders of the neck and back joined. In 2009 the team expanded to include Dr. Sina Kasraeian, specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopy. The most recent additions are Dr. Paul Roettges, who is a joint specialist and Dr. Alexander Lampley who specializes in disorders of the hand, wrist and elbow. Dr. Casey McClone, is a fellowship trained primary care sports medicine physician. All physicians in the Practice are Fellowship-trained. The practice continues to expand and opened an additional office in northern St. Johns County located on County Road 210.

Injuries and disorders relating to sports medicine, joint replacement, foot and ankle problems, spine, and hand and wrist issues are treated by our staff of fellowship and sub-specialty trained orthopaedic surgeons. Both MRI and physical therapy are available at this location, providing convenient continuing care for our patients.
