South Florida Provider Coalition is a nonprofit organization of service providers that support and provide prevention and treatment services to individuals and families with behavioral health care problems in Dade, Broward and Monroe counties in Florida. Established in 1996, it works with professional health service agencies, practitioners, academic researchers and institutions that focus on substance abuse and mental health treatment. The organization serves adolescent females, homeless individuals, intravenous users, pregnant women, HIV positive people, and women and men with dependent children. South Florida Provider Coalition offers after care, case management and mental health residential treatment services. It operates self-help centers that provide a range of opportunities for persons with mental illnesses to develop, operate and participate in social, recreational and networking activities. The organization is located in Miami.
