S. D. Spady Elementary School has a staff of teachers and paraprofessionals that provides academic classes in art, music, visual and fine arts, math, science, social studies, and physical and health education. It has an annual enrollment of more than 600 students in prekindergarten through grade six. S. D. Spady Elementary School maintains a parent-teacher association that provides opportunities for discussion of mutual concerns of parents and teachers and fosters communication with the school and community. The school also operates a school advisory council that participates in information and training programs within the school community. Located in Delray Beach, Fla., S. D. Spady Elementary School is a part of the School District of Palm Beach County, which is one of the largest school systems in the United States and serves nearly 171,500 students in over 225 educational institutions.
