Ethel F. Beckford/Richmond Elementary School, located in Miami, is a magnet school for studies of zoology, math and science technology. It has an annual enrollment of more than 300 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. Established in 1963, the school also provides counseling, transportation, health care and meal services to students. Ethel F. Beckford/Richmond Elementary School supports various programs, including computer tutorials in reading, mathematics and science; accelerated reader; gifted and talented education; and before-and after-school tutoring. It employs a staff of over 35 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals. Ethel F.
