History
In early 2007, after working for another tutoring startup, PrepSmart's founder, Adrian Alvarez, and his wife, Jannette Melo, set out on their own. PrepSmart's philosophy from the start was that the focus of test prep tutoring needs to be on the students' needs and to give them as realistic an experience with the material as possible. To do this, PrepSmart strives to only use real test questions, to offer as many opportunities to take live, timed tests as possible, and have the ability to review the results of the exams with their instructor. The results: PrepSmart's first two students were accepted into Harvard & MIT respectively and to date, we've helped helped hundreds of students maximize their scores get into the school of their dreams.
Specialties
Private & Small Group tutoring for College and Graduate Entrance Exams, including the SAT, ACT, LSAT, GMAT, and GRE. We also offer K-12 and University Academic Tutoring. All of our students can take free practice tests that we offer almost every weekend and sometimes weekday nights.
