History
Carlos Larrain started playing golf at the age of fourteen, and became Venezuela's National Junior Champion at the age of seventeen. He then went on a successful amateur career by winning the National Open twice, the Brasil Open and the Argentina amateur Championship. By age of twenty-five he was playing professionally. For 20 years he was coached by John Elliott Jr. (Top 50 Best Teacher by Golf Digest Magazine). With his guidance Larrain played over 400 international golf tournaments including the Canadian Tour, Asian PGA Tour, European Tour and South American TLA. Among the many recognitions Larrain received a medal for Merit to the Game of Golf by the Venezuelan president. Since 2016, Larrain has been involved in all aspects of the sport, teaching, club fittings, corporate tournament planning, and professional coaching.
