Pasadena Hearing Care was founded in 2012 by Dr. Anne Carter. Dr. Carter worked in hospital settings and with ENT physician practices before opening her own practice. She has been working in the South Pasadena, Florida area for over 12 years.

Dr. Anne Carter has been servicing the South Pasadena, Florida area for over 12 years and opened her practice, Pasadena Hearing Care, in 2012. With an education that spans from Tennessee to Ohio, Dr. Anne Carter earned her Ph.D. in Audiology in 1996 from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Before that, she achieved her Master of Arts in Audiology in 1991 and her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences in 1989, both from Miami University in Oxford, OH. With over 20 years of experience -- five of those as a research Audiologist -- Dr. Anne Carter has explored the vast world of hearing to bring her expertise to the South Pasadena area. She has studied the effects aging has on our hearing, how the ears enforce teamwork to process sound, and how understanding speech by interpreting the sound of letters can be improved. Moving to Florida in 2000 allowed her the opportunity to teach at the University of South Florida, bringing both her clinical practice and research discoveries to future doctors. Dr. Anne Carter is the author/co-author of over a dozen journal articles and several books on the topic of helping others. She has presented at nearly 20 professional conferences since the beginning of her career. Dr. Anne Carter currently resides in Treasure Island with her husband, Troy, and their teenage daughter, Emily.
