History
The Ocala Jockey Club farm and restaurant were built in 1982. The Restaurant was an award-winning restaurant and a popular wedding and meeting venue, with many raving about the spectacular sunsets and beautiful surroundings. The event venue was closed for many years but reopened in January 2014. It is again bustling with interest and people are again falling in love with the sunsets, large open rolling hills dotted with old growth oak trees and Spanish moss, and of course the majestic Thoroughbreds living and training on the farm.
