Myrtle Lake Baptist Church adopted its new senior pastor in 2002. Since then it has called itself "the church who cares." Located on highway 54 in Land O Lakes, Myrtle Lake is hard to miss with its large marquee sign out front and huge cross on top of the church. The pastor, Elbert Nasworthy, also hosts a radio show and was the first vice president of the Tampa Bay Baptist Association.
