After working at a busy hospital, Mrs. Alvarez Acevedo decided to specialize in primary care. She saw many hospital patients who could have avoided severe illness if they had had access to better preventive care services. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and speaks English and Spanish. Though born in Florida, she lived in many parts of the United States during her childhood.
