R & R Industries was established in 1948 as the R & R Roof Tile Company, a manufacturer of cement roof tile to service the east coast of Central Florida. The tile business soon expanded into the new roofing market and the re-roofing market. The company later expanded again to include the sheet metal business. Soon R & R Industries was in the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning business with one of the largest sheet metal shops in Central Florida. The company has seen steady growth and expansion into all phases of the Roofing Industry. R & R Industries became an approved contractor for all major manufacturers in the built-up roofing and single-ply roofing industries. The company also became an air-conditioning dealer for all the industry's leading companies, including Trane, Carrier and Weatherking. R & R Industries was founded by Louis P. Samuels.
