The Parks & Recreation Division of Citrus County, Fla., offers a variety of parks and recreational facilities. Its parks offer a range of amenities that includes barbecue grills, fishing piers, jogging trails, horseshoe pits, boat ramps, pavilions, playgrounds, parking facilities, water fountains and showers. The parks also include baseball, soccer, softball and football fields and basketball, racquetball and shuffleboard courts. The division also maintains a river campground of more than 30 acres, which provides opportunities for camping, boating, picnicking, fishing and canoeing.
