Marathon High School, located in Marathon, Fla., is governed by the Monroe County School District. It teaches classes from grades seven through 12 in a middle and a high school level, and enrolls more than 600 students. Its curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies, physical education, practical and fine arts, technology studies, and vocational and career-oriented subjects. Marathon High School also provides dual enrollment program that enables students to participate in community college studies while still in high school.
