Westlake Christian School was established on a strong Christian foundation in 1995 as a ministry of Palm Harbor United Methodist Church. The school offers a challenging curriculum and a safe, nurturing environment for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The curriculum is designed to meet the educational needs of students who are performing at or above grade level. Westlake is a fully accredited member of the Florida Council of Independent Schools.Westlake Christian School ( at Palm Harbor United Methodist Church ) is located 3/10 mile north of Nebraska Avenue on Belcher Road ( west of U.S. Hwy. 19 ).WCS admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. The application process includes the submission of a completed application, copies of recent report cards and achievement tests, birth certificate and Florida immunization record and paid registration fee followed by an interview with an administrator.
