The Life Management Center of NW Florida, established in 1954, is a health care center. It provides a range of behavioral health and family counseling services for children, adolescents and adults. The center serves communities in Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson and Washington counties in Florida. The Life Management Center of NW Florida offers counseling services to more than 6,000 adults and over 3,000 children and adolescents every year. It provides various mental health evaluation services, including suicide assessment and examination for involuntary psychiatric hospitalization. The center also offers medication for psychiatric disorders; social rehabilitation programs for persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses; residential treatments and services for adults; and psychological testing and consulting services. Headquartered in Panama City, Fla., it maintains a location in Bonifay, Fla. The Life Management Center of NW Florida is a member of the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare and the Florida Council for Community Mental Health.
