Berean Academy, located in Tampa, Fla., provides a classical-based education to students in grades kindergarten to 12. This model teaches students how to study the facts of each subject, the ordered relationship of those facts, and how these two may be articulated in a logical and persuasive way. The academy integrates Christian teachings into all aspects of the curriculum. Established in 1995, the school offers classes in various subjects, such as reading, spelling, mathematics, science, history, geography, Latin, art, music, Bible, English, foreign languages and physical education. Berean Academy is an accredited member of the Association of Classical and Christian Schools, with more than 150 member schools nationwide. The school also offers an interscholastic sports program for boys and girls, including golf, volleyball, soccer, basketball, tennis, and track and field events.
