History
Founding Attorney, Catherine J. Jones, a former attorney in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps, entered private practice after serving in as a paratrooper and Legal Assistance attorney in the 82nd Airborne Division and as a Federal Tort Claims attorney in Ft. Meade, MD. Ms. Jones opened Cocoa Beach Law Group and worked tirelessly to protect homeowners from unscrupulous mortgage servicers during the foreclosure crisis. In 2010, Ms. Jones joined a large bankruptcy firm in Merritt Island, Florida, where, after surviving her own personal bankruptcy, she developed a deep compassion for others facing the very traumatic decision to seek bankruptcy protection. She subsequently co-founded The Advocates Law Office, before founding LegalNinja. LegalNinja is the product of years of learning how to provide excellent legal services at little cost to consumers while simultaneously building a profitable, non-predatory law practice.
