The Lake County Fire Rescue Division is a part of the Department of Public Safety, which is operated by the government of Lake County in Florida. The division offers a range of emergency management services. It protects more than 200,000 residents and visitors in an area of over 1,000 square miles. The division responds to a variety of life and property emergencies daily. The Lake County Fire Rescue Division operates nearly 15 fire stations. It responds to up to 15,000 emergency and nonemergency calls annually. The division operates through administration and operations branches. The Lake County Fire Rescue Division administers public education and community outreach programs.
