History
KNA was started in 1996 when a satisfied client financed me to quit my job and manage his yacht refit design and construction project. We have been continuously in business in Ft. Lauderdale, with an additional stint in Panama City, FL from 2009-2014 managing engineering for a large shipyard there. We have performed over 300 refit and newbuild design engineering projects for customers worldwide during that time, and continue to do so.
Specialties
We specialize in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering-the design of modifications and new construction plans for yachts and small commercial vessels. We also provide damage surveys for repairs, and marine expert witness services.
