Co-founders, Mike and Terry Schneider, opened the first Loop Pizza Grill restaurant more than 25 years ago. They guide a group of more than 20 successful restaurants that include 18 franchises under the name of The Loop Restaurant Group. The company is preparing to more than double their size during the next few years. The Loop came into being after the Schneider s has to close a second location of their Applejacks restaurant and needed to do something will all the equipment that was purchased. They realized families might be looking for a place to get good food fast and decided to begin with Chicago-style pizzas. The Loop is named after the financial district in Chicago. The menu includes party platters, soups and sides, salads, pizza, burgers and sandwiches, wraps, desserts and shakes and a light-foods menu. The restaurant maintains locations throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina and South Carolina. The Loop Pizza Grill is headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla.
