History
Created with government financing and contributions from our community's private side that were arranged by our local political and community leaders, the Jerome Golden Center for Behavioral Health - considered a state-of-the-art facility - opened its doors in November 1970. The vision was to treat mental health problems and returning patients to the community where they can function comfortably in the family and community.
