After four years of offering mouth-watering ribs to Bloomingdale, Jaymer-Que Southern BBQ recently expanded into the storefront next door and now offers an expansive dining area with TVs and video games for the kids in a family atmosphere. Jaymer-Que specializes in untrimmed loin-back spare ribs prepared with a dry rub of 10 spices and cooked on pecan or hickory wood for four to five hours. For those who prefer sauced ribs, Jaymer offers a grand champion barbecue sauce. Jaymer-Q also offers baby-back ribs on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
To accompany the ribs, Jaymer-Que offers home-cut fries, sweet potato fries, kettle chips, fried okra, fried green beans and BBQ nachos. Homemade kettle chips can be topped with pulled pork, chopped brisket or chicken along with shredded cheese, sweet sauce and sour cream.
In addition to ribs, Jaymer-Que serves smoked chicken salad, burgers made with smoked seasoned ground brisket, served on a bun or in a wrap, a smoked turkey pesto or smoked turkey sweetness sandwich on toasted seven-grain bread, a turkey panini with sun-dried tomatoes, red onion and provolone cheese, a fish sandwich made with hand-breaded haddock and served on a hoagie roll with homemade tartar sauce, ham, Swiss and pork served on toasted media noche bread, an authentic Cuban sandwich made with pulled pork, salami and ham and Cyndi's Late-Night Fave – ham, cheddar, mayonnaise and mustard served on toasted raising bread. Soups and salads are available as well.
