This delightful store sells a wide variety of candles, from tiny tea lights to medium-size votives to substantial jar and tumbler candles in more than 150 scents, as well as air fresheners, room sprays, plug-ins, reed diffusers, and accessories such as candle holders, shade plates and toppers, and holiday displays. All products emphasize safety. Yankee Candle is the largest U.S. manufacturer of scented candles and represents the classic American success story. Back in 1969, 17-year-old Mike Kittredge melted some crayons to make his mother a candle as a gift. His innovative candle was a hit with neighbors and shortly after Yankee Candle was born. This Yankee Candle store is located at Westfield Sarasota Square Mall in the main promenade.
