The Institute for Intergovernmental Research is a nonprofit research and training organization. It specializes in law enforcement, juvenile justice, criminal justice and homeland security issues. It provides assistance to local, state and federal law enforcement agencies for governmental effectiveness. It also specializes in information systems, planning, research, technical assistance, program evaluation, curriculum development, training and policy development and implementation. It also provides research and education programs for grants management, economic crime, crime intelligence and criminal conspiracy investigations and prosecutions. It develops and conducts training workshops and seminars for personnel of governmental agencies to improve leadership, technical and managerial skills.
