History
The house was built by the John Grumbles family in 1908. More on them can be found on our website. When we bought the building, it housed Argyle's Attic Antiques. We slowly added new gifts, home decor, local artists and finally a plant nursery. We saved the 1942 WWII army barracks from being torn down and had it moved about 3 blocks to the current location next door to Grumbles House. After being refurbished, it was opened as BR Wraps Deli and has housed a host of shops over the years including Heavenly Scents Candle & Gift Shop, Stroke of Genius, Tara's Ladies Clothing Store, Patty Cake Cafe, Repeat Boutique and Majen's Cafe. It now houses Sweetie's Cafe which is open Mon.-Sat. 10am-3pm for great lunches and afternoon high tea by reservation.
