Founded in 1993, Grove House Supportive Services is a nonprofit agency in Jacksonville, Fla. The agency serves people with developmental disabilities, such as mental retardation, autism and cerebral palsy. It also offers treatment for individuals with acquired brain injuries due to strokes and accidents. Grove House Supportive Services provides state-approved supported living and employment and mental health programs. The agency assists people in adjusting to life, managing their behaviors, building self esteem, acceptance, and all of the other issues involved with successfully negotiating life. Grove House Supportive Services staff includes vocational evaluators, supported living coaches, development specialists and employment consultants.
