Located in Wildwood, Fla., GTR (Global Tire Recycling) manufactures crumb rubber from whole waste tires, needed for trucking, rail and shipping ports. It offers a range of products, such as GTR microgrind, GTR soft cover and many more. GTR microgrind fine mesh crumb rubber is used as an additive to natural, virgin rubber, usually in conjunction with another polymer or adhesive that acts as a binding agent to form a variety of finished products. As an extruded product, it can be used to make agricultural hoses, soaker hoses and other similar products. GTR soft walk is used for playground, landscaping, walkways and the equestrian market. GTR soft cover is a landscaping material that is used in the background for highlighting shrubs and flowers. Working from its 48,000-square-foot building, GTR (Global Tire Recycling) uses state-of-the-art, fully automated whole tire processing and crumb rubber production system to accomplish its projects.
