The Florida Poison Information Center Network, also known as FPICN, offers 24-hour emergency services. It provides poison prevention and management information solutions to the citizens of Florida. The network operates centers in Jacksonville and Tampa in Florida. The Florida Poison Information Center Network offers information on food poisoning, pesticides, chemicals, household and personal products, and herbal and dietary supplements drugs. It maintains the Florida Poison Information Center Miami, which assists with more than 40,000 poisonings annually. The network provides medical toxicology services, as well as administers educational programs. The Florida Poison Information Center Network works in collaboration with the University of South Florida and Tampa General Hospital.
