The UCF Foundation, formerly known as the FTU Foundation, is a nonprofit organization that conducts various fundraising activities for the University of Central Florida. Established in 1969, the foundation serves as a channel for the private support of the university through annual and planned gifts, as well as capital and other special purpose campaigns. The UCF Foundation enhances relationships with alumni, faculties, staff, friends and community partners. It secures and manages charitable resources for the university. Through the participation of staff members, the foundation sponsors an annual fund campaign that works to create a variety of educational opportunities for students.
