During her fourth year, she completed a specialty contact lens training seminar course at the Vision Care Institute in Jacksonville, Florida. Later, in her fourth year, she helped teach a course on slit-lamp use and ocular foreign body extraction to family medicine residents in Montreal. She then completed her internship in ocular disease at the Eye Centers of South Florida, where she worked with Dr. Dan and Dr. Hoffman and went on to complete her residency at the Miami VA Medical Center and the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, the nation’s top residency program and eye hospital. Dr. Kramer is a member of the American Optometric Association and a Fellowship candidate of the American Academy of Optometry.
