HistoryDelray Credit Counseling is a 501(c)(3) non for profit credit counseling agency. We provide financial education, budgeting, and debt management services. We assist consumers in improving financial literacy on topics such as budgeting, re-establishing credit, and debt consolidation. With proper counseling and effort by the consumer, many clients have improved their financial condition over time. By doing so many clients have gone on to achieve their longer range goals such as buy a home, save for retirement, and start a college fund for themselves or their children.SpecialtiesDelray Credit Counseling specializes in assisting consumers resolve their debts. Clients receive budget counseling to identify areas where consumers can ease some of the financial pressures most households endure. This is accomplished by identifying wasteful spending, re-assessing the need or current service level of certain services, ways to improve income, resources for low to moderate income families to get a helping hand in a time of need, and actions plans to payoff outstanding debt.
