The First District Court of Appeal Clerk's Office is responsible for overseeing the filing and progress of cases. The office provides information on court's procedures, as well as cases status. It is a part of First District Court of Appeal, which has been in operation since 1959. First District Court of Appeal s jurisdiction includes the orders of trial courts and appeals from final judgments. The court reviews nonfinal orders. It also reviews the operations of state agencies. In addition, First District Court of Appeal issues the writs of certiorari, mandamus, quo warranto and habeas corpus.
