Dr. Donohue is fellowship trained in orthopedic trauma surgery, adult reconstruction and arthritis surgery, and is board eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Much of his training is focused on managing complications related to previous surgeries, first time hip and knee replacements and computer navigation and robotic assisted surgery. He is a reviewer for the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma and is a member of several organizations including the Foundation for Orthopaedic Trauma, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Florida Orthopaedic Society. Each of these organizations provide education, research and mentorship to surgeons and allied providers specializing in orthopedics across the country. Dr. Donohue has given lectures both nationally and internationally regarding orthopedic trauma, including an academic presentation about computer assisted radiology and surgery. He is a continuing speaker and instructor at Orthopaedic Trauma Association annual meetings. Outside of Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Donohue enjoys spending family time with his wife and daughters.
