Established in 1971, Consolidated Minerals Inc. owns and operates four-constant-output mines in the southeastern United States. The mines produce 1.5 million tons of aggregate annually, which are used to create industrial concrete, asphalt, masonry and other manufactured products. Consolidated Minerals Inc. s Burke County Sand Company plant produces topsoil, sands and clay for masonry, concrete, landscaping and other construction projects. The company s calcium carbonate product line is used for partial cement replacement and enhancement purposes. Consolidated Minerals Inc. (CMI) also owns and operates two specialty subsidiaries that produce exclusive aggregate products for the swimming pool industry. The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) granted Consolidated Minerals Inc. three Sentinels of Safety Awards.
