Christian Haitian Outreach (CHO) is a longstanding organization founded in 1974 by Eleanor Mom Workman, dedicated to supporting orphans, children, and the impoverished in Haiti. Under the leadership of Dr. Franco Jean-Louis, CHO continues to fulfill Mom Eleanor's vision by providing care and assistance to the precious children of Haiti through various programs, including education, housing, and healthcare.
With its main campus in Mariani, Carrefour currently undergoing repairs, CHO has temporarily relocated its 33 children to a beautiful home in Clercine, Tabarra, just a short drive from the airport. Additionally, a separate home in Mahotiere, Carrefour has been rented to accommodate young adults aged 18-26, who will be enrolled in trade school to equip them for independent success. CHO also operates a church on the Mariani Campus, although gatherings have been temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
