History
The Center for Vein & Vascular Disease (CVVD) was opened in 2011 because of a growing need to provide comprehensive vein and vascular care in the community. Of the over 30 million Americans affected by varicose veins or Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) and Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), only 1.9 million seek treatment annually, while the vast majority remain undiagnosed and untreated. Without treatment, those with the disease may experience progressive symptoms that can be debilitating and significantly impact quality of life.
